Sigma Metalytics Coin Reference Booklet

Coin Booklet

The Coin Booklet was developed by Sigma Metalytics to help new users and new investors get all the info they need for the most popular and common coins in one place. They consulted with the largest online retailers to determine which coin and bar types were most popular among their customers, then researched the correct information for each coin and bar, and collected all of that info in this booklet.

The booklet provides an overview of best testing practices, what to look out for, and common counterfeiting techniques. The booklet details each sample type's weight in ozt, weight in grams, thickness in mm, diameter in mm, which alloy setting to use to test it on the Sigma Metalytics Original, and which sensor to use to test the sample.

The sample types included in the booklet are:

Gold

American Buffalo, American Eagle, Australian Kangaroo, Austrian Philharmonic, Canadian Maple Leaf, Chinese Panda, Credit Suisse Bar, Mexican Libertad, PAMP Suisse Bar, South African Krugerrand, United Kingdom Britannia, Valcambi Suisse Bar

Silver

American Eagle, Australian Kangaroo, Austrian Philharmonic, Canadian Maple Leaf, Chinese Panda, Mexican Libertad, South African Krugerrand, United Kingdom Britannia, United States Peace Dollar, United States Morgan Dollar, United States 90% Dime, United States 90% Quarter, United States 90% Half Dollar

Platinum

ATTENTION

The Sigma Metalytics Original is not an all-in-one testing device. It is critically important to test the density of your samples in addition to testing the resistivity. The Original only tests the resistivity of the sample. A sample can only be considered genuine if both the resistivity and density are correct. Our Sigma Metalytics PRO series does test both density and resistivity, but when testing with the Sigma Metalytics Original, the user must test density separately on their own.
